New Outdoor Advertising Program in Omaha

A new advertising program, the Omaha Parks Program, has been created by the Omaha Parks and Recreation Department, to give businesses the opportunity to showcase their brand in city sport complexes while simultaneously supporting the Omaha community. A substantial amount of the advertising proceeds go back to the park in which a company’s ad is displayed to help maintain and improve the park.

Because of its central location, and to commemorate Elmwood Park turning 100 next year [2016], one of Elmwood Park’s ball fields has been chosen as a model park for this new advertising program where sample displays will be placed through the end of this year. After the sample displays at Elmwood are installed, parks will begin to open to advertisers one park at a time, starting with the Moylan Ice Complex, Seymour Smith Baseball Complex, Tranquility Soccer Complex, and the Elmwood golf course. Each park is available by business category; meaning only one company in a category will be able to advertise at one park. For example, only one real estate company, or one auto retailer, etc.

In addition to the locations being business category exclusive, there are limited spaces available at each park. So act quickly and get your business on the reservation list!

This program is managed by Best Buy Signs; a sign company specializing in outdoor advertising, signs and displays. They are located at 17410 Storage Road, off of 180th and Harrison Street in southwest Omaha. They also manage the Omaha Bus Bench program for the City of Omaha.
